enFocus places its Fellows in an accelerated growth program, giving them the opportunity to work closely with community leaders and decision-makers at the highest organizational levels. For many Fellows this marks their first foray into the professional world, but unlike most entry-level positions they are entrusted with roles that influence pivotal decisions from the outset. While this responsibility might seem intimidating, it is a profound learning experience, offering real-time feedback on the tangible impact of their work.
Given the importance of this work, enFocus ensures that Fellows don’t navigate this journey in isolation. They are supported by their Project Managers and the expansive resources available within the enFocus network. This safety net fosters key developmental moments, empowering Fellows to take risks, grow, and thrive.

On my first project as an Industry Innovation Fellow I found myself presenting to the VP of Operations at a manufacturing company — not as a recent Purdue graduate, but as a trusted advisor. I was there to share how they could optimize their manufacturing process and reduce waste to increase operational savings. That moment was transformative; it solidified my passion for consulting and set the course for my career.”

The enFocus Fellowship offers a two-year paid program developing talent through industry and civic projects. Fellows lead 2-3 projects simultaneously, working with sponsors to drive change. They gain hands-on experience in research, development, innovation, and entrepreneurship, supported by mentorship and community involvement for an impactful career start.
