Leah Moody

Civic Innovation Fellow

Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Leah graduated from The University of Notre Dame in 2025 with a double major in Economics and Philosophy. She loves the South Bend community and is excited to be staying in the region as a Civic Innovation Fellow with enFocus!

One of the most meaningful parts of Leah’s time at Notre Dame was her involvement with the Institute for Social Concerns. She spent summers at Andre House of Hospitality in Phoenix, Arizona, serving people experiencing homelessness, and Casa Del Migrante in Tijuana, Mexico, working with migrant populations. These experiences deepened her passion for issues related to housing, homelessness, and migration, as well as inspiring her more broadly to pursue a career oriented towards the common good. Leah also worked as a Project Development Intern with the Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunity, which grew her excitement surrounding the development of innovative solutions to fight against poverty and other social issues.

Leah is passionate about community and can’t wait to serve the region through her work with enFocus! In her free time, Leah enjoys cooking, reading, thrifting, spending time outside, and hanging out at coffee shops with friends and family.
