Mihika Saxena

Mihika Saxena was born in Mumbai and raised across several cities in Northern India. She later moved to the United States to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering at Purdue University. During her time at Purdue, she was actively involved in leadership and mentoring roles, serving as the Professional Development Chair for WISE (Women in Industrial & Systems Engineering), a leadership committee member for Mortar Board – Barbara Cook Chapter, an Exploratory Studies Ambassador, and a mentor for WIE (Women in Engineering).

Her interest in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing grew through internships at ASML and SCHOTT. At the same time, she developed an interest for entrepreneurship and wanted explore startup ideas alongside engineering. The Innovation Fellowship at EnFocus provided her with the perfect opportunity to combine both interests—delving into entrepreneurship while contributing to process improvement in manufacturing plants.

Outside of work and academics, Mihika enjoys painting seascapes on canvas, writing, reading mystery and thriller novels, and running on nature trails.
