Nehreen Fatima Headshot, Innovation Fellow at enFocus

Nehreen Fatima

Innovation Fellow

Nehreen joined enFocus in January 2026 as a Civic Innovation Fellow. She graduated with her B.A. Economics (Honors) from Ashoka University in 2024 and her M.Sc. Management from Wake Forest University in 2025.

With her three years of experience in consulting, Nehreen hopes to utilize her abilities in policy analysis, stakeholder management, and strategic communication to address socioeconomic challenges within St. Joseph County. She is keen to explore the intersections between sustainability targets and business practice, and is particularly passionate about energy transition: a prominent theme in her work thus far. Additionally, Nehreen is keen about economic development and financial literacy initiatives: an interest that stems from her experience living in four different countries and observing the nuances within various efforts to address multifaceted socioeconomic issues.

Previously, Nehreen has been a strategic consultant for PepsiCo, researched the socioeconomic nuances of renewable energy transition at a think tank, and has assessed the profitability and community impact of a sustainable housing development.

Outside of her professional life, Nehreen is an avid musician and has been singing since her childhood. She also plays the piano and has taught music theory to numerous students. Beyond music, Nehreen enjoys painting, miniature sculpting, cooking (mostly Asian, Middle Eastern, and Mexican food), and baking. She hopes to learn sewing, crochet, and gardening soon.
