Steven Lyu

Yuanzhe (Steven) Lyu, originally from Beijing, China, graduated from Northwestern University with dual Bachelor's degrees in Learning & Organizational Change and Music Education in June 2023 and a Master's in Management degree in June 2025. He worked as a Technology Consultant at Ernst & Young's Beijing office for 10 months, leading data management strategy initiatives for a Fortune 500 company. While completing the music education degree at Northwestern, he also taught music at two local middle and high schools in the Chicago region.

Steven is passionate about solving business problems to make a readily available impact for organizations. During his time at EY, he optimized the data management strategy, which saved process operation time across multiple business systems. As a musician, Steven also enjoyed singing in choirs and making an impact on the audiences who attend each concert. Steven is excited to join enFocus, where he can combine his consulting experience with his interdisciplinary perspective to foster entrepreneurship and economic development in the South Bend-Elkhart community and beyond. Steven is particularly interested in projects in the education industry involving data-driven strategic planning, tech implementation, and process optimization.

Outside of work, Steven enjoys singing with 18 years of choral experience and 5 years of a cappella experience. He also enjoys watching detective TV shows, cooking, and swimming.
